Checking Product Profits with EcomPal

Pricing can make or break your business. Many sellers underestimate costs and end up with razor-thin margins — or even losses. The EcomPal Product Profit Checker solves this by breaking down every fee and showing you your exact profit per sale.

Step 1: Open the Profit Checker

  • In your dashboard, click Product Profit Checker.

  • You’ll see fields for price, fees, and costs.

Step 2: Enter Selling Price

  • Add your planned selling price (e.g., £24.99).

  • Tick Includes Tax? if the price is tax-inclusive.

Step 3: Add Platform Commission

  • Enter your platform commission % (e.g., 10.8% for Amazon).

  • Tick Includes Tax? if the commission already includes VAT or sales tax.

Step 4: Add Affiliate/Promotion Fee

  • If using promotions or affiliates, enter the % (e.g., 10%).

  • Tick if this includes tax.

Step 5: Add Shipping Fee

  • Enter your shipping cost per order (e.g., £3.99).

  • Tick if tax is included.

Step 6: Add Product Cost

  • Enter the cost price of your product (e.g., £15.60).

  • Tick if your supplier price includes tax.

Step 7: Check Tax Reclaim

  • Select your country from the dropdown.

  • Toggle VAT, GST, or Sales Tax Reclaim if you’re registered.

Step 8: Get Your Profit Breakdown

Click Check Price to generate your results. EcomPal will show:
